  1. Sometimes your site is referred on the network as "Sight of Poland"?

Correct. Our name is similar to "Polish Home Pages" (3 words) from University of Warsaw, so it is to distinguish between two of them.

  2. When did Polish Homepages started?

    In August 1995.

  3. Who were the original authors?

Margaret (of Margaret in Cyberspace fame) and Roman (from Roman's WEB Place).

  4. Do Margaret and Roman speak Polish?

Yes. They both left Poland as the adults.

  5. Who are the additional members?

They are: Mariusz and Zbigniew our Poznan connection.

  6. Is it true that none of the four authors ever met?

Yes it's true. We met accidentally on internet and started corresponding. Since then we feel like we know each other for ages.

  7. What are the honors that "Polish Homepages" received?

The biggest so far are ODINs Sighting of Today and inclusion of our "Polish Cyber-Links" in the Clearinghouse. Also a lot of recognition among our visitors, which well motivates us to even harder work.

  8. I would like to join your group. What should I do?

Good question. It's easy to become part of "Polish Homepages". Think what you would like to do. Send us an e-mail and voila - you're a part of our family. If you do not have time to design pages, but would like to donate pictures, ideas, information or whatever you're also welcome to do so.

  9. What attractions are waiting in wings?

Many to look forward to! Among them pages showing additional cities, clickable Map of Poland leading you to WEB pages, improved cookbook with many more recipes and surprise.

  10. I like to mirror your pages on my server. What should I do?

Great. Let us know and we will provide you the files you need to put on your server. We are considering full and partial mirrors. The full mirror will have at least 50% of our files, while partial will have our main page and at least one more page. We prefer you not to mirror our guestbook, but any other pages is OK.

  11. What browser should I use to benefit from viewing your site?

Netscape is our first choice. If you have to use another browser, any browser which supports tables, images and backgrounds should be OK.
